I actually enjoyed playing this game (both the surgery part and the part where you have to rescue wounded soldiers), but my hands definitely started to hurt after a few minutes. It’s been a long time since I’ve played a game with a joystick that was that unresponsive. I managed to get the hang of the rescue part after a while, but I wasn’t able to accomplish the surgery part (despite many efforts to). Overall, it was pretty fun, but it’s not something I’d play on a regular basis.

I LOVE M*A*S*H, this game is great. The simple graphics are fun to experience and help you focus more on the gameplay. It was a perfect mix of challenging and fun.

I thought this was so enjoyable! It definitely wasn’t easy but i thought i had a good time learning how to make the controls work for me. Personally i thought the simplicity of the graphics was really charming. I really liked it!

This game was actually fun! I hardly tired of the endless loop of rescue & surgery! I only had to stop every once and a while to rest my hands! the joystick was a combination of unresponsive, and touchy all at once. Developed a flick the top of the joy stick technique. it would move the perfect amount during surgery that way. I think this is the first game we’ve played wear the joystick was such an integral part to the game. also I wish more modern games used the voice that mash used! Now i just need to actually watch the show.

This game was really pretty fun! It took me a while to figure it out (even how to turn it on, sorry Ben) But I read the manual for the game and that helped. My main issue is that the turn stick on the console is very stiff + difficult to navigate on screen with–especially for the surgery part, I failed each time miserably. I liked picking up the people with the helicopters though and the voice part is real cool. I didn’t get bored much in this game, it’s the perfect amount of exciting and challenging. The design of the game is also damn cool I like the simplicity and the ridiculous dart one uses for surgery.

M*A*S*H proved to be a satisfying game that was innocently simplistic in both it’s presentation and content. I struggled a lot with the helicopter section of the game as I often got killed by the cannons from below – or was beaten by the other helicopter ( I played one-player). I found the surgery to be really awesome – and it reminded me of ATARI adventure as the piece of “shrapnel” was really just a pixel and the organs of the body were reminiscent of the labyrinth as well. The one flaw in the game was definitely the really stringent joysticks. They were PAINFUL to use, especially after player ATARI – which was an admirable joystick set up. Ultimately, I might play this game again – but definitely not for too long. It was a pleasant experience.

This game was actually pretty fun, even if the joystick and button will make your thumb ACHE. The back and forth between helicopters and surgery made it so the game didn’t get too tedious and I only really stopped playing because my hand hurt too much to go on. On a side note, if you play it two player the tank will always target player 2, ALWAYS, it won’t even acknowledge player 1, it just has a serious vendetta against player 2.

I was surprised by how fun it was! The combination of the simple graphics but challenging gameplay made for a really interesting game. The only problem I had was that the joystick was difficult to control. But overall a nice game.

I like games like these because they usually don’t take themselves *too* seriously. I know it’s based on a comedy series, but the gentle tone goes pretty well with low-res retro action. I was surprised to see how much the helicopter game had in common with the one I was making, as far as the movement around the screen while avoiding obstacles. The operation game was okay, but mainly because it’s not really a new concept for me. As a whole, it is a fun game that is worth the diversion.

I thought M*A*S*H had simplistically fun gameplay, fun graphics, and a creative story line between operating a helicopter and performing surgery. The difference in the two tasks kept things interesting. I particularly liked the use of a large canvas side scrolling format to create the effect of a far away background and close foreground. It inspired me to try and create semi-3D graphics with the limitations of P5JS. I had fun playing this game for a bit.
